The water bottle pockets do NOT fit nalgene sized bottles and once any type of bottle is in the pockets, it becomes very difficult to access the main pocket. my favorite day pack So comfortable, and keeps my back cool on a hot day, this bag is my go to. I see there are some complaints on not being able to use a nalgene bottle. I used bike water bottles and they fit great. It fits everything I have and has just enough room to be prepared for anything.
